Dan is managing partner of Trump, Alioto, Trump & Prescott. He joined the law firm in 1988 after two years as a staff attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Dan is a member of the Wealth Counsel, and is devoted to the practice of business, estate, and charitable tax planning. Dan has a wide range of experience and education in many sophisticated planning techniques, including revocable living trusts, family limited partnerships, irrevocable life insurance trusts, private annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, private foundations, grantor retained income trusts, buy-sell agreements, and split-dollar insurance arrangements. Dan's practice includes advanced business and asset protection planning through the use of corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and trusts, both domestic and offshore.
Dan also practices in a broad range of commercial and real estate fields, including civil litigation of contracts, negligence, and environmental issues. Dan has experience in a wide range of business and real estate transactions and has negotiated a variety of agreements covering a broad spectrum of business and real estate relationships. He has litigated numerous matters in state and federal courts in California and Nevada, as well as Washington, D.C.
