Currently of counsel to the Firm, John V. Trump was
the founding force behind the firm. Currently retired
from full-time practice, Mr. Trump's career emphasized
business law, real estate and environmental law, and
civil litigation. Mr. Trump has extensive trial
experience in State and Federal Courts, arbitration, and
alternative dispute resolution. He has served as an
expert witness in real estate and business litigation
and as a consultant in environmental law matters and in
land use and zoning litigation. Mr. Trump has served as
special counsel to the cities of Union City, California,
Black Jack, Missouri, and Lansing, Michigan, regarding
land use and zoning litigation.
Mr. Trump has appeared before and tried cases in all
Federal and State Courts in California, and has argued
before the California and Federal Courts of Appeal, and
the State of California Supreme Court.
